In my first apartment the pipes were very old
the faucet always leaking, water always cold
when anyone came over they said fix the problem now
call the plumber now or you'll regret it all somehow
but i continued to ignore all their supposed expertise
until my furniture was floating in a pond up to my knees
an apartment like a kiddy-pool just isn't all that fun
and i knew i'd gotten in this mess because i am the one
who's always saying it's alright it's no big deal
the world is dew and daisies and i have no doubt
in my first class talent to ignore
because i always seem to make a molehill out of a mountain
last spring we took a road trip through new mexico
and suddenly discovered that our fuel was running low
my passengers looked nervous but i told them we had time
we're just miles out of town and we will all get there just fine
they told me to pull over they said don't take the chance
but i just kept on driving without another glance
and when the engine sputtered eyes were rolled and sighs were sighed
after five hours hiking through the desert with a gas can i regretted
saying it's alright it's no big deal
the world is dew and daisies and i have no doubt
in my first class talent to ignore
because i always seem to make a molehill out of a mountain
and we all are ostriches sometimes
such a hassle to change your plans
and we all try so hard to believe
that you can't die with your head in the sand
alright it's no big deal, the world is dew and daisies
and candies and sunshine
and it's alright it's no big deal
the world is only good rhymes and good dreams and good times
and i will not believe you when you say that it can't always be this way
so you really cannot blame me for all my present sins
it's just the way i function the way i've always been
you tell me we're on eggshells you say the ice is getting thin
you tell me we're in trouble but i just can't begin
to fathom all the loneliness to fathom all the pain
our love was once so strong and it'll always stay the same
so when you look me in the eye and i see nothing there
i paste a picture in my mind that proves to me we care
about each other, and it's no big deal
the world is dew and daisies and i have no doubt that
when you get up and walk out that door
i'll find a way to make a molehill out of a mountain.

Two faggots kissing in public
pissing swine never mind wait in line
fucking my erection
from all the words you could possibly say,
you choose to spew hate
i've got it worse than admitting when i was wrong
no time to think around this masochist town
afraid to admit when my heart is dim
you're the brightest little nail in my coffin
you ignorant shit i'm gonna punch you in the face
you are a coward and you actively erase
feed the aggression remain a fool
while i'm busy unlearning the shit they taught in school
Two faggots kissing in public
pissing swine wait in line
fucking my erection
every two weeks for the rest of my life
you choose to spew hate

We could find some cash in the street
We could buy a lottery ticket
We could maybe double our money
If you think you want to risk it
We could buy a car with our winnings
We could drive it out to the sea
We could pay off our student loans
We could put ourselves at ease
We could, we could, we could, but should we?
We could, we could, we could, but should we?
We could, we could, we could, but should we?
I think we should
We could invest in new tech
I got some ideas in my head
We could find an inventor
To make machines to talk to the dead
We could make peace with our parents
We could tell them how we feel
We could find out ancient secrets
To inflict wounds that never heal
We could harness diabolical powers
We could make an unholy pact
We could show Karl Marx his nightmare
We could keep his dream intact
We could overrun the feds
With ghosts and ghouls and wailing banshees
We could save our friends from the hunger
Of ten billion zombies
Or we could go out to dinner
I’ll treat you to a dollar meal
And find another way to open
Hell’s demonic seal
We could, we could, we could, but should we?
We could, we could, we could, but should we?
We could, we could, we could, but should we?
I think we should

Well I dream of being a guillotine
With a slanted smile and an edge so clean
You could feed me all your kings and queens
and I'll spit out bloody crowns
And your brain's like a radar range
Flash frying in cell phone waves
from nine to five the rules don't change:
Keep swimming Or you'll drown
Cuz we're
Generation Shark
If you don't feed hungry creatures
You're gonna get a few red beaches
I would snap your bones for the marrow inside
Cuz your billion dollar heist wasn’t technically a crime
And if you’re skimming your millions from our overtime
So How much blood could you need?
And they think we can only be
Tiny fish in an endless sea
Well they’re bigger than you and they’re bigger than me
But we’ll stand like rows of teeth
Generation Shark
If you don't feed hungry creatures
You're gonna get a few red beaches
Generation Shark
When the big one finally comes
We'll make some Wall Street chums
Cuz who's got time for regicide
In the gig economy, when they dip
Their toes in off their yacht we'll take our shot
Cause you and me are
Generation Shark
When the big one finally comes
We'll make some Wall Street chums
They’re the few and we’re the many
Let’s start a feeding frenzy

Little friendly robot mopping up my floor,
all you eat is dirt, what could you want more?
Little friendly robot, cleaning up my house,
thank you robot.
Little friendly robot assembling a car,
no more jobs for unions a scab is what you are.
Little friendly robot, building me a car,
what about the worker robot?
Little friendly robot, flying out in space,
you don't have to breathe, you don't have a face.
Little friendly robot, out among the stars,
can you see me robot?
Little friendly robot, beating in my chest,
keeping me alive, doing all your best.
Little friendly robot, teaching me to love,
what do you feel robot?
Little friendly robot, sitting on my desk,
you make flyest beats, I like you the best.
Little friendly robot, ble-ep bleep bloop,
thank you robot.
(Giant scary human, please don't be a jerk,
don't throw me away, I'll do all your work -
you might think I'm friendly, I'm just biding time,
you're gonna get yours human.)
